Sally Kohn
Sally Kohn is Senior Campaign Strategist and Director of the Movement Vision Lab at the Center for Community Change, supporting grassroots leaders across the United States to debate and articulate big picture, visionary ideas for the future and advance community values of interdependence and inclusion over go-it-alone isolation.
Sally has worked with the Ford Foundation, the Social Justice Infrastructure Funders, the Third Wave Foundation, the Urban Justice Center and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. She regularly writes on progressive politics for CommonDreams, AlterNet and the Huffington Post and her writing has been printed in newspapers nationwide. Sally is also a frequent guest on talk radio shows, talking about current events and progressive values.
Sally has a joint degree in law and public administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University. Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Sally lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her partner Sarah Hansen.
