Bio: Janet Shenk is a Senior Program Officer at the Panta Rhea Foundation, a grantmaking foundation focused on corporate accountability. She served previously as Deputy Director of the Center for Community & Corporate Ethics, and as a Special Assistant to John Sweeney, President of the AFL-CIO.  She was Executive Director of the Arca Foundation for nine years, overseeing grantmaking programs in human rights and democratic practice.  She has lived and worked extensively in Latin America.

Shenk received her BA from Smith College and MA in Economics from the New School for Social Research.
