I am a current masters candidate at the graduate program in International Affairs at the New School. My background in university was a international business concentration with an international affairs minor. I plan to pursue a career in foreign policy after my graduate studies and hope to work overseas for a portion of my life. I was born in Bombay, India and remain an Indian before an American even though I have lived in each country for about thirteen years. I play ultimate frisbee for the city of New York and our team hopes to qualify for the national tournament at the end of the year.

This is a great idea - I already do this as much as feasible. I also feel that it is essential to support local grocers and farmers, we all could use greater clarity around the source points of our food. -

If you are in fact spending $4 a day on coffee, you may want to reassess your priorities in life, sorry but its true. -

Was the charge clearly indicated on the statement or was it embedded as part of a larger 'finance charge'? -

Uneducated about how to earn credit,

I think that a simple guide around some key principals of how young people should go about building good credit could be an asset to the site. Credit Card companies are vultures by nature and any slip up on someone's part - like the individual in another post who was late on a car payment and saw a spike in his interest rate - can snowball into larger problems. We could use a basic guide on how to avoid being taken by surprise by credit card companies.
