Ed is a Seattle native with a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Washington. He is a self-taught technologist who was inspired enough by the first Apple II to start a career in technology. He has worked as a Business and Technology Consultant for Fortune 100 companies, as a General Manager building, running, and supporting several internet-based businesses, and as Chief Operating Officer for a small start-up managing their product development, back-office technology, and financial functions. At Qvisory, Ed’s primary role is the Technology Director, where he is helping to drive the build out of our website and integration with our partners. He is passionate about useful and efficient technology, sustainable local economics, and protecting our local environment. Ed lives on a small farm on Bainbridge Island with his wife and three boys, working towards living sustainably with a large vegetable garden, goats, chickens, and sailing when time permits.

- I will commit to open-source software to save money if 5 other people use open-source replacements for Windows, Word, anti-virus, etc. with me.
- I will walk my puppy for ten more minutes on each walk if 5 other people walk their pets a little longer each day.
- I will check my 3 credit reports one a year (equally spaced apart individually) if 3 other people do the same.
- I will not read any emails past 10pm on weekdays if 10 other people join me.
