- I will give up cable and spend the total on yoga classes if 5 other people do the same.
- I will walk my puppy for ten more minutes on each walk if 5 other people walk their pets a little longer each day.
- I will not read any emails past 10pm on weekdays if 10 other people join me.
- I will put 75% of my tax refund towards my debt. if 5 other people do it with me..
- I will put money in an IRA this year if 15 other people do the same.
- I will check my 3 credit reports one a year (equally spaced apart individually) if 3 other people do the same.
- I will bring coffee to work rather than purchase it on the way if 5 other people do the same.

You can use True Credit to monitor the 3 credit bureau scores....It costs around $15 a month, but I've been able to use it to fix a lot of inaccurate stuff and it helps me focus on trying to improve my credit score. -

I think it is fantastic that you found fun ways to combine your activities - running with girlfriends or grocery shopping with the kids. Often we forget that it is just the face time with our loved ones that is important. -

I'm so glad you are talking about this. An illness in college left me in debt and my credit score a disaster for years. I've just recently dug myself out of this, (9 years later), and it was not easy. Just telling people that they are not alone in this situation will be a great help.
