Antha N. Williams is the Program Officer for the Key States Program of the Beldon Fund in New York. She is responsible for making grants to build stronger support for environmental issues by policymakers through public education and advocacy in Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Prior to her work with the Beldon Fund, Williams served as Organizing Director with Green Corps, a training program for aspiring environmental leaders. In that capacity, she ran more than fifteen national campaigns with environmental advocacy groups like Greenpeace and Sierra Club, and trained sixty young organizers in the skills and strategies of grassroots organizing.
Williams is co-chair of the State Funders Caucus of the Funders Committee for Civic Participation, and was co-chair of the Program Committee for the Environmental Grantmakers Association 2007 Annual Retreat. She graduated from Dartmouth College and lives in New York.
