  • On Look Beyond Gen-Y Benefits for Happiness at Work, 02/02/08
These are all excellent points, and I am very lucky to say for the most part, I have a pretty good thing going at my job. It shouldn't be a matter of luck, though -- it's a matter of conscious choice. I started out making next to nothing and made several key decisions along the way to get where I am now. You have to be always looking for the next opportunity, and NEVER close a door when it's opened. Always explore it first!

Excellent advice and a great way to break it down. Everyone loves pie! :) In all seriousness, though, just like bad food habits, it takes people a lot of will power to avoid making bad $ decisions. Thanks for lightening the mood and offering some good tips at the same time.

Great article. I'm about to make the switch from leasing new cars to buying a used one, and I have to admit, I'm freaking out a little bit! I have a few months before I take the big plunge, so I'm checking into things NOW versus waiting until the last minute. I plan to know what I want, what I'm willing to pay, and how I am going to pay for it.
  • On I will Work out at least 3 days a week if 5 other people do the same, 02/02/08
I just bought a bike trainer and am holding myself to working out 3x/week. I have found it boosts my overall mood and I'm feeling better already!

There's a lot to be said about the power of positivity!
