YOUNG MONEY, Your Money
YOUNG MONEY opened its door in 1999, and has become a leading national money, business and lifestyle magazine written primarily by student journalists. YOUNG MONEY specifically focuses on money management, entrepreneurship, careers, investing, technology, travel, entertainment, and automotive topics that affect our generation.
In a recent press release, YOUNG MONEY Magazine announced that it has added a 200th college distributing copies on their campuses, up from 110 colleges in January 2007. It notes that debt is a growing problem for youth, and that “major factors in this unhealthy trend are limited financial training, the accessibility of credit cards and loans, and the scarcity of information that addresses their specific needs and situations.”
With more than 800,000 readers, YOUNG MONEY has grown in popularity, experiencing a circulation increase of more than one hundred percent over the past five years.
YOUNG MONEY is published six times per year (February, April, May, September, October, December), and a subscription costs $15.95. Additionally, you can subscribe to their website and/or blog via RSS.
Some interesting articles on their website include Eight Major Job Trends for 2008 or Don’t Major in Credit Card Debt for credit card advice and tricks .

My name is Jason Simon and I am your Qvisory Money Content Manager.
Money matters to me as much as it probably matters to you. I know what it’s like to feel anxious, confused, and angry while trying to figure out how much to spend on rent, where to find a job, or which credit card to use. These are the types of decisions we all must face.
I strongly believe that Qvisory is opening a space to discuss these issues, learn from each other, and creatively advocate for money, work, and health issues that affect our daily life.
In addition to writing about money issues at Qvisory, I blog at Open to Difference. I graduated from George Mason University with a M.S. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution and the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Sociology and Community Studies.
