Welcome to Qvisory!

We are a nonprofit community created to help you achieve your goals in the areas of money, work, and health. We aim to help each other manage our budgets and debt, move forward in our careers, and navigate the healthcare system.

Through our collective voice, we can create change by making ourselves heard by the people and institutions that make the decisions that influence our lives.

We live in a time of tremendous economic uncertainty, when the rules of the game are constantly changing. Job security is a thing of the past, along with the perks that came from staying with a company for a long time, such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Salaries buy less than they did a decade ago, and basic living expenses, healthcare, and education costs eat up a much higher percentage of income than they used to. We are also carrying much higher levels of debt than prior generations.

Other generations and groups have organized voices just for them - it is time we built one to work for us.

Qvisory addresses these challenges head on with expert advice and products in the areas of money, work, and health, and the opportunity to get involved in changing the way things are.

Launched today, our site features the following:

• In Take Action, we kick off our first campaign on the egregious practices of credit card companies.
• Our Tools for Life Blog includes expert advice and real-life stories about critical money, work, and health issues that we think will interest and help you.
• Our Pacts page allows you to make, join, or comment on pacts that individuals make to change, influence, or affect something that is important to them.
• Qvisory membership lets you get even more: a budget tool to track your money; a career tool to help you with your job strategy; and an online storage system for your health and financial documents.

We're also negotiating on your behalf. In addition to the membership products listed above, we hope to offer health insurance and financial savings products in the Spring of 2008 - at an affordable price. We'll keep you up to date.

This is a start. Initially, we are reaching out to friends and family. We want to make sure everything works smoothly Please let us know of any ideas, reactions, or hopes you have for Qvisory.
