Eating out with a family of 7 takes its toll on our budget. I'm a great cook ... I'll spend the money I would spend on my next take out purchase on a variety style cookbook and find some yummy things to add to my normal menu. Nothing like changing things up to make the kids happy.

We're spending a really depressing amount on take-out and low-end restaurants lately. Half of our food budget shouldn't be going towards eating out.
